In this position, you will assist in conducting audits in a variety of industries testing basic financial transactions for proper financial reporting, compliance and adequacy of internal controls. You will also work on complex audits and be responsible for supervising Staff I professionals. Additionally, you will have occasional in-charge responsibility on statement reviews and/or certain audits. You should have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Accounting or a related field and at least one year of experience in public accounting preferably with a large regional or national firm. You should also be enthusiastic and team-oriented, with great communication skills – strong problem solving skills, analytical skills and the ability to perform under time constraints will also help you succeed in this position. Occasional regional travel for client visits is also required for this position. CPA certification is not a requirement for this position, but would be a plus.
