Baker Newman Noyes Recognized on Forbes List: America’s Best Tax and Accounting Firms 2021

Baker Newman Noyes (BNN) is proud to announce that for the second consecutive year, the firm has been recognized by Forbes on the annual list of America’s Best Tax and Accounting Firms. BNN is one of 278 firms included on the list and is one of only 11 full-service, New-England-based firms on the list that is recognized for both tax and accounting services.

“Our employees and clients – the people who know us best – understand that BNN is a premier tax, assurance, and advisory firm, and that our team goes above and beyond to provide exceptional counsel and results,” said Dayton Benway, Managing Principal of Baker Newman Noyes. “We are proud to have our hard work and sought-after expertise recognized by fellow accounting professionals and clients and validated by an esteemed organization like Forbes.”

The Forbes America’s Best Tax and Accounting Firms list is based entirely on feedback provided through independent surveys of peer firms and clients – applications are not accepted. Survey participants were asked to submit their recommendations according to specializations, services, and professional experiences. The market research company Statista considered survey responses from CPAs, enrolled agents, tax lawyers, accountants, and CFOs, and the firms that received the most recommendations were included on the list.

“While the consistently positive feedback we receive from our clients is our most meaningful form of recognition, these accolades are another testament to our ability to provide high-quality service and achieve strong results,” said Bob Croak, Tax Principal and Partner-In-Charge of BNN’s Massachusetts offices. “It further proves that our people-first, collaborative culture, coupled with our team’s deep and broad expertise, are the ingredients for continued success and growth in the future.”

In addition to this recognition, BNN is ranked as a top 100 firm in the U.S. by Inside Public Accounting and Accounting Today, as well as a top firm in New England by Accounting Today. The firm is also ranked as the second-largest accounting firm in Maine by Mainebiz and the 31st largest accounting firm in Massachusetts by the Boston Business Journal. Earlier this year, BNN received a Net Promoter Score of 84 and the Best of Accounting award from the independent ranking firm ClearlyRated.
