Sherwood is the newest member of BNN’s growing Business and Technology Advisory practice with more than 20 years of experience advising clients on IT and business process strategy and solution deployment. Her areas of specialty include IT strategy, controls and governance, system selections and implementation management, business process improvement, and enterprise risk management. She is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (C.I.S.A.), holds ISO 27001 IT Security Implementation and Audit certification, and is an active member of the National and regional chapters of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).
A native of Duxbury, Massachusetts, Sherwood earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Bentley University, one of the nation’s best business schools according to Princeton Review and one of the top 10 financial technology programs in the world according to The Financial Times. Outside the office, Sherwood enjoys time with her family and serves on the executive committee of the Duxbury Business Association.
