Andy has been a Tax Principal at BNN since 2013. In addition to serving clients, he also provides leadership as both the Director of Tax Services and Chairperson of the firm’s Board of Directors. As Chair of the Board, Andy is responsible for Board leadership and facilitation, as well as internal and external firm communications. Andy started his term as Board Chair in 2024 and has served as Director of Tax Services since 2023.
Andy’s client practice focuses on closely held, family-owned, and multi-generational businesses in the hospitality, construction, real estate, and professional service industries. Andy is trusted by owners, their families, and their businesses to provide comprehensive and strategic tax planning and advisory. Specifically, he has extensive experience advising his clients on business planning matters such as:

- Like-kind exchanges
- Cost segregation studies
- Tax credit deals
Prior to his Board leadership role, Andy was heavily involved in the firm’s college recruiting efforts and mentoring our interns and younger professionals.
Andy began his career at Baker Newman Noyes in 1998, after interning with the firm in 1997. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with concentrations in accounting and finance, from the University of Maine, Orono.
